The FireMaster® Concertina™ can be used as part of a fire engineering solution in commercial and industrial applications such as airports, shopping centres, offices and hotels or where the need for maintaining open areas is vital. Designed to stop fire and will deploy immediately upon alarm or an emergency condition. Approved as a 3-Hour Fire Rated Assembly.
Applications: Atrium, Boundary Protection, Compartmentation, Stairs and Escalators.
Bespoke to each project, the FireMaster Concertina is available in a number of configurations and can even be manufactured to form closed faceted triangles, squares, rectangles, ellipses and circles.
Developed by Coopers Fire to protect a range of building types, the FireMaster Concertina has been tested and is listed to UL standards and is typically used to protect atria, escalators, and stairs and is available in any width and in a maximum drop of 5 meters and is supplied with the Coopers Total Gravity Fail Safe (TGFS) system with variable speeds and controlled descent.
Coopers FireMaster Concertina is tested to NFPA and UL* standards to protect against fire for 240 minutes. The FireMaster Concertina is listed and certified with UL to UL 10D for 4 hours.
