We are looking for a Technical Fabric Assembler, the role entails working with technical textile fabrics to manufacture and assemble Fire and Smoke curtains.

Using work instructions to cut and sew fabric panels together while maintaining high level of accuracy and quality.

 

duties and responsibilities

  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Ensuring products are made to customer specification
  • Working with a variety of hand tools
  • Measuring and cutting industrial fabrics
  • Operating industrial sewing machines
  • Intricately folding fabrics to customer specification
  • Ensuring material is not wasted
  • To take on any other tasks as deemed reasonable by management

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in using industrial sewing machines such as twin needle, single zig-zag stitch, and overlocking machines
  • Experience in working in a factory environment
  • Fabric cutting experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
