Coopers Fire has very strong Marketing and brand presence which generates lots of opportunities, we are looking for a Sales Executive to help convert those opportunities into orders. Day to day this will involve interacting with Architects and Main Contractors on UK based projects.
The ideal candidate for this role is somebody who is currently or has previously sold bespoke products into the Construction Industry.
This role is an office based role at our manufacturing facility in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Engage with designers, specifiers and contractors with a view to generating a bespoke solution for use in a variety of commercial building projects including new build, refurbishment and fit-out
- Progressing these projects through the design and build process by engaging with stakeholders at all stages, to include providing a quotation, ensuring our solution remains specified throughout and securing the order
- High levels of Customer Service throughout the process
- Carry out all project related follow-up calls or contact, via the use and management of the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This will include feedback to the business to allow for accurate forecasting and creating new opportunities
- Be aware at all times of competitor activity, market intelligence and compliance with the latest industry standards
- Work with internal stakeholders on new product initiatives to ensure we remain the go to company for our products
- Support and liaise with the company’s estimating department relating to building design and construction contractor enquiries and quotation requests
Qualifications
- Business related or Technical qualification (desirable but not essential)
Skills and Experience
- Previous and proven sales experience within the Construction industry is preferable but not essential
- Knowledge of building contractor tender process
- Ability to learn and respond to technical information enquiries
- Fire and/or Safety Background would be handy but not essential
