POSTED BY 09.10.2015,

Coopers are pleased to announce we are finalists at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards 2015 for the Passive Fire Innovation Product for our Domestic Concertina installation in Maida Vale, London.

A high number of quality entries were received, assessed and scored by the panel of judges, and we are proud to have reached the shortlist for the category, Passive Fire Innovation Product of the Year.

Now in their seventeenth year, the Security Excellence Awards have consistently broken new ground in highlighting the very best people, projects and processes the UK’s fire and security sector has to offer.

The Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2015 will take place on Wednesday 25 November 2015, London Hilton on Park Lane. The awards will be hosted by Jimmy Carr, Channel 4's face of comedy and one of the most distinctive talents on television.

Concertina Case Study

Coopers FireMaster Concertina fire curtain was installed in a domestic property in Maida Vale, London. The property was a four floor home being completely re-developed, which included an open stair case leading from the ground floor to the basement level. The basement contained a new kitchen, dining area, snug and bathroom and needed a virtual wall around the open stair case to seperate the basement from the first floor in the event of a fire, thereby protecting the primary means of escape.

Coopers are looking forward to attending the awards and fingers crossed we do well as a finalist!
