Environment Policy

Coopers Fire Ltd is one of the world’s leading Fire and Smoke Curtain Barrier specialists. We design, manufacture, install and commission active fire and smoke curtain barriers, which are fully tested and certified to meet the latest product standards, as required by Building and Fire Safety Regulations. We operate out of our purpose built facility in Hampshire and supply worldwide.

At Coopers our established Business Management System is written in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001 and externally assessed by a UKAS approved certification body. We aim for business sustainability, and follow a policy of corporate responsibility. During the Management Review process the Management Team establish the objectives to drive continual improvement. Regular management meetings are held across the business to ensure the company objectives are being progressed and met.

To ensure environmental protection is at the heart of our business we have made a number of commitments, which include:

  • Identifying and complying with all environmental legal and other requirements applicable to our activities
  • Identifying our environmental aspects and ensuring controls are in place to reduce our company impact
  • Ensuring openness of our environmental activities with interested parties
  • Encouraging environmental information sharing and communicate our improvement activities with our employees
  • Encouraging energy and waste reducing initiatives
  • Ensuring emergency procedures are in place to prevent pollution from accidental spillages, or fire
  • Continual improvement of our Management System to enhance our environmental performance

Our policy extends to our contractors working for, or on behalf of our company.

Our policy will be reviewed at least annually by the Management Team to ensure it continues to meet the aims and objectives of our Company and is available via our website. This policy has been approved by:
