We are looking for a Panel Wirer, to carry out the electronic assemblies using predetermined programmes and works orders, detailed work instructions or drawings to the required standard in the manufacturing of life saving equipment

duties and responsibilities

  • To be a part of an established, skilled team within our production division, focussing on the building of electronic panels
  • To read and implement complex instructions, interpreting wiring diagrams and wire complex control panels for automation applications
  • Testing control panels to Coopers Fire testing specifications, ensuring they are fit for purpose
  • Cross checking of colleagues’ work to ensure quality of product
  • Stock control
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained
  • To take on any other tasks as deemed reasonable by management

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Electrical wiring schematics

Desirable:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
